D’abord en Orient et plus tardivement en occident le paravent est depuis des siècles un élément de décor et de séparation. Le paravent est une architecture en soi, une sculpture, un espace poétique. Les panneaux de bois sont sérigraphiés des deux côtés avec des fonds de couleur blanc ou orange, charnières en pliage.
