Hommage à René Magritte. La pomme et le chapeau melon, éléments figuratifs récurrents de ‘oeuvre de Magritte, sont ici Omaggio a René Manritte. La mela ed il cappello a “bombetta”, elementi figurativi ricorrenti nelle opere magrittiane, sono qui aggregate in un surrealistico traguardo funzionale. Poltroncina con struttura in polistirolo antiurto rivestita in tessuto elasticizzato colore nero. Imbottitura in resina espansa rivestita con tessuto elasticizzato color verde mela.

DESCRIPTION: 

Reproduction copy of original 1939 Surrealist model with less bird prints on its top surface.
Structure polished cast bronze frame.
The elliptical top with its shaped edge has the footprints of a fantasy bird on it, which also inspired the cast bronze feet.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  The upper part of the table top is in fine gold leaf, the underside is painted with gold coloured paints.

From 2007, the table is now available in silver.
